Yashasvi Jaiswal admitted to hospital, RR gets a shock just a day after IPL 2026 defeat Gujarati
New Delhi: Indian team’s opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was immediately admitted to the hospital after the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League match. Yashsvi had played an inning of 15 runs against the Rajasthan team, but after the match his health deteriorated and he was immediately taken to the hospital. According to reports, Yashshvi Jaiswal was suddenly admitted to the hospital due to acute gastroenteritis (stomach infection).
Yashsvi Jasiwal’s health deteriorated
While playing for the Mumbai team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) in the Super League match against Rajasthan, Yashasvi Jaiswal (hospitalised) scored 15 runs in 16 balls, but after the match, his health deteriorated and he was admitted to the hospital, a senior journalist of Indian Express said.
According to him, Yashasvi Jaiswal was suffering from stomach cramps, which became worse after the match against Rajasthan. He was immediately taken to Aditya Birla Hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis (stomach infection). He was given medicine through IV (drip) and examined by ultrasound and CT scan. He has been advised to take medicine and rest.
Yashasvi is currently in great form. He has played three matches in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, in which he has scored 145 runs at an average of 48.33 and strike rate of 168. He also performed well in the ODI series against South Africa, in which he scored 156 runs in three matches at an average of 78.
In this he also scored his first century in ODI. Meanwhile, in the Super League match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy played on Tuesday, Mumbai team chased the target of 217 runs, but their team’s journey in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy has come to an end.
