India star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his maiden ODI century in the third match against South Africa, reaching the milestone in 111 balls. With this, Jaiswal became the sixth Indian batsman to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket.

His brilliant innings helped India chase down the target of 271 with ease, as the hosts won by nine wickets to seal the three-match series 2-1. With this century, Jaiswal became the sixth Indian batsman to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket, joining the likes of Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Shubman Gill.

Jaiswal’s innings was well-supported by senior batters Rohit Sharma (75) and Virat Kohli (65 not out), who also contributed crucial runs to ensure a dominant victory. Earlier, Indian bowlers Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Yadav starred with the ball, taking four wickets each to bowl South Africa out for 270 in 47.5 overs. This performance highlighted India’s all-round strength and paved the way for a memorable series-winning triumph at Visakhapatnam.

Kuldeep Yadav, brought into the attack in the 39th over, immediately made an impact. He later removed Corbin Bosch (9) and Lungi Ngidi (1) to finish with 4/41 in 10 overs, including one maiden, as South Africa were bowled out for 270.

This was Kuldeep Yadav’s 11th four-wicket haul in ODIs, surpassing Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath, who each had 10. With five four-wicket hauls against South Africa, he now holds the record for the most four-wicket hauls by an Indian against any team in ODIs, breaking the previous records held by Zaheer Khan (against Zimbabwe) and Mohammed Shami (against West Indies).
