Year Ender 2025: This year, this marriage was the most discussed topic, know why it was so?

Year Ender 2025: Everyone loves the wedding season. Every year something new is seen during the wedding season. But this year (2025) Indian weddings showed a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Many celebrities and common people organized such marriages which became popular on social media.

From Vedic traditions to yogic rituals, these weddings exemplified spiritual purity and simplicity. These marriages, which were in the news throughout the year, showed that there can be different ways of celebrating love.

return of vedic marriage

Vedic marriage was again in trend this year. This oldest ritual described in Rigveda and Yajurveda is based on mantras, fire and pheras. Rituals like Kanyadaan, Paanigrahan and seven rounds provide the couple with the promise of Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Many couples choose it because it sanctifies the responsibilities of a lifetime. Vedic style was very much liked in destination weddings in 2025.

Bhoot shuddhi marriage craze

Bhoot Shuddhi Vivah was the biggest discussion of 2025. This is a ritual based on the yogic tradition, in which the five elements earth, water, fire, air and sky are purified. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru got married at the Isha Foundation in December in a simple and private ceremony.

It involves meditation, mantra and fire parikrama. Its purpose is emotional and spiritual union, which brings happiness and peace in married life. Many celebrities adopted it, making it a trend.

Micro Luxury and Eco-Friendly Weddings Trends

Micro luxury and eco-friendly weddings were also in discussion this year. Sustainable decor and personalized ceremonies along with a small guest list were preferred. Ticketed weddings and fusion menu added a new flavor.

Names like Aadar Jain-Alekha and Armaan Malik were included in celebrity weddings. Overall, 2025 showed that marriage is not just a ritual, but a personal and spiritual experience.
