Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani

On June 12, an Air India plane Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner going from Ahmedabad, Gujarat to London crashed on the roof of a hostel as soon as it took off from the airport. A total of 242 people were on board AIR India Flight 171, out of which 241 died. Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani was also among those who died. Vijay Rupani was the CM of Gujarat twice between 2014 and 2021.

Former Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren also said goodbye to the world this year. He died on 4 August after a prolonged illness. In the year 1973, he founded Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Under his leadership, the state of Jharkhand was separated from Bihar and established. He was also the Chief Minister of Jharkhand three times.

Former Goa CM Ravi Naik

The name of former Goa CM Ravi S Naik is also included among the veteran political personalities who will bid goodbye to the world in the year 2025. He died of cardiac arrest on the night of 14 October. He has been the 4th and 6th CM of Goa. His first term was for 2 years and 113 days, while his second term was only for 6 days.

Former Lieutenant Governor Satyapal Malik

Satyapal Malik, former Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Governor of Goa and Meghalaya, also said goodbye to the world on August 5 this year. He was ill for a long time and was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi. Satyapal Malik had made many serious allegations against the Central Government, PM Modi and RSS. Because of which he was in the headlines.

Former Governor Swaraj Kaushal

Famous lawyer, husband of Sushma Swaraj and former Governor Swaraj Kaushal passed away on 4 December. He was a Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana Vikas Party from 1998 to 2004. After this he also served as the third Governor of Mizoram. On July 13, 1975, he was married to veteran BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Former MP and actor Dharmendra

On November 24 this year, veteran film actor and former MP Dharmendra also said goodbye to the world. At the age of 89, he breathed his last at his Mumbai residence. Dharmendra was famous all over the world as an actor. Apart from this, he was also the Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Bikaner from 2004 to 2009.
