Bhojpuri music industry’s famous folk singer Nisha Upadhyay is once again in the headlines. This time the reason is not his new song, but the ruckus during the stage show, the video of which is going viral on social media.

Nisha got angry on stage, raised slippers on anchor

It is being told that this video is of a stage program organized in a village in Saran district of Bihar. Nisha was ready to perform in the program. Then anchor Mukesh took his name from the stage and said something which displeased him. While announcing, the anchor said in a funny manner – “Now it is our dear Nisha didi’s turn… clap… and yes, what is didi’s rate today? One song ten thousand, two songs twenty thousand… or something else?” Some people in the crowd laughed, but Nisha did not like this comment at all.

It is seen in the video that Nisha, wearing a blue saree, comes on the stage angrily and picks up slippers in her hand. The anchor is seen trying to save himself, while some people are heard making noise from behind. Nisha is heard saying angrily – “He is telling the rate… will he tell me my rate? Give me the mike, we will tell his rate… we will beat him… who is he to tell the rate?” Some people tried to calm the matter by intervening, but for some time an atmosphere of chaos was created in the program.

Nisha Upadhyay is a well-known folk singer, stage performer and actress of Bhojpuri music world. He also has a good fan following on social media – he is said to have around 4.78 lakh followers on Instagram.

She has been a victim of attack before too

This is not the first time that his name has been linked to some controversy or incident. In the year 2023, he was shot in an aerial firing incident during a live stage show. Even at that time this matter was much discussed. This viral video has once again sparked a debate about the respect of artists and professional behavior on stage.
