Actually, ‘Maglev’ It is not the name of the train but the name of the technology. Under this advanced system, this train does not touch the tracks like other trains, but floats above and runs at lightning speed. Its biggest feature is that it remains raised a few inches above the tracks with the help of powerful magnetic force, due to this technology friction is completely eliminated. Because of which its speed is very fast. The capability of this system can be gauged from the fact that it is capable of reaching a top speed of 600 to 700 km per hour.
