Yogi cabinet expanded in UP, 6 leaders including Bhupendra Chaudhary took oath as ministers.
UP Cabinet Expansion: Today is a big day for the politics of Uttar Pradesh. The cabinet of Yogi Adityanath government has been expanded today. During this expansion, six new ministers have been given place in the cabinet. The Governor administered oath to the new ministers at Jan Bhawan. 8 leaders have got place in this expansion. It is being said that the portfolios of many existing ministers can also be changed.
Let us tell you that the party leaders believe that it is very important to strengthen the social balance before the 2027 assembly elections. For this reason, this time new faces have been given place in the cabinet expansion. It is believed that by including these leaders, BJP is trying to weaken the opposition’s PDA i.e. Backward, Dalit and Minority equation.

Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary: Former state president of BJP and considered one of the prominent Jat faces of Western Uttar Pradesh. Bhupendra Chaudhary is a resident of Moradabad. Active in Sangh and BJP for a long time. Let us tell you that he became a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) for the first time in 2016 and is still an MLC. After the formation of the BJP government in 2017, he became the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Panchayati Raj and in 2019, he was promoted and made the Cabinet Minister of Panchayati Raj.
Manoj Pandey: He is an MLA from Unchahar assembly seat and was also a cabinet minister in the SP government from 2012-17. He was elected MLA on SP ticket in 2022 and has also been the Chief Whip of SP in the Assembly. Manoj Pandey is considered one of the big Brahmin leaders of Awadh and Purvanchal.
Krishna Paswan: He is a BJP MLA from Khaga Assembly seat of Fatehpur. Krishna Paswan, who started his life as an Anganwadi worker, is counted among the big Dalit leaders of the district. She has also been MLA four times and District Panchayat member twice. She is considered a trustworthy female face of UP BJP.
Surendra Diler: He is MLA from Khair assembly seat of Aligarh district. He is one of the well-known Dalit youth leaders of BJP. He is also the son of old BJP MP from Hathras, Rajveer Singh Diler. His grandfather Kishan Lal Diler has been MLA 6 times and MP 4 times. His father Rajveer Singh Diler has also been MP once and MLA once.
Hansraj Vishwakarma: He is a Legislative Council Member (MLC) from BJP. Backward classes are considered to have a strong hold in politics. Hansraj Vishwakarma has been active in politics for the last 34 years. He started his journey from the booth level in 1989 and also played an active role in the Ram Mandir movement. He has an important contribution in BJP’s big victory in Varanasi in the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2022 Assembly elections.

Kailash Singh Rajput: In 1996, he won from Tirva Assembly seat on a BJP ticket. After that, he contested elections in 2007 on BSP ticket and won again. In the 2017 assembly elections, he again joined BJP and reached the assembly after winning. In 2022 also, he has won from Tirva assembly seat of Kannauj district.
