On the occasion of completion of ‘nine years of new construction’ of Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, a series of grand programs are being organized across the state till 26 March 2026. The objective of these events is to convey to the general public the development works, public welfare schemes and achievements made in the last nine years.
Chief Secretary SP Goyal has issued detailed guidelines in this regard to all the District Magistrates, so that effective organization of programs can be ensured in every district.
Nine day fair at district level
According to the instructions, a committee will be formed in each district under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate, which will include administrative officers, social organizations and public representatives. The nine-day fair will be inaugurated at the district headquarters in the presence of the Minister in-charge and local public representatives. During this, a short film based on the achievements of the government will be shown and a development booklet will be released.
The journey of development will be visible in the exhibition
Exhibitions will be organized by various departments in every district, in which the schemes and projects of the Central and State Government will be showcased.

– Inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the projects
Through these demonstrations the general public will get direct information about the development works.
Theme based programs and cultural events
Seminars on different topics will be organized every day during the fair, such as:
– Youth Empowerment
– Women Welfare
– Farmers and Workers Development
Along with this, cultural programs will be organized, which will provide a platform to local artists and promote regional art and culture.
Initiative to link schemes
During these events, eligible but deprived people will be linked to government schemes. Major schemes include:
– Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi
– Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana
– Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana
– Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana
– Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana
Through this, efforts will be made to provide government benefits to as many people as possible.
Employment and self-employment opportunities
Employment and loan fairs will also be organized in the fair, where youth will get job and self-employment opportunities. Loan distribution will be done with the help of District Bankers Committee, which will encourage small entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Special initiative of ‘One District One Cuisine’
Food courts will be set up under ‘One District One Cuisine’ (ODOP), where people will get to taste local and traditional dishes. This initiative will not only promote diversity in food but will also benefit local traders.
