Yogi government promoted 67 IAS officers in UP, 4 became principal secretaries and 19 became secretaries.

Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh government on Friday announced promotion of a total of 67 IAS officers. Of these, four senior officers have got the post of Principal Secretary. Shashi Bhushan Lal Sushil, Ajay Kumar Shukla, Aparna U and SVS Rangarao of the year 2001 batch have been appointed principal secretaries on supertime pay scale. This promotion will be effective from January 1, 2026. After the order of appointment of Principal Secretary, now the process of transfer of these officers is likely to start.

Promotion from Special Secretary to Secretary
Let us tell you that 19 IAS officers of the year 2010 batch have been promoted from the post of Special Secretary to Secretary. These include Akhand Pratap Singh, Kumar Prashant, Neha Sharma, Monica Rani, Shambhu Kumar, Yogesh Kumar, Nitish Kumar, Bhavani Singh Khangaraut, Sandeep Kaur, Durgashakti Nagpal, Ravindra Kumar and Om Prakash Arya. All of them have been given super time pay scale of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200. Whereas, K. Balaji, Ashutosh Niranjan and Sujit Kumar have been given proforma promotion. It will be mandatory for these officers to complete Mid-Career Training Program Phase-4 within two years.

Selection grade and promotion of other batches
30 officers of the year 2013 batch have been provided selection grade of Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900. This includes Divya Mittal, Rajkamal Yadav, Priyanka Niranjan, Satyendra Kumar, Apoorva Dubey, Anuj Singh, Harshita Mathur, Avinash Kumar, Deepa Ranjan, Ramesh Ranjan, Ravindra Kumar Mandad, Samuel Pal N, Jitendra Pratap Singh, Alok Singh, Shubhrant Shukla, Vishal Bhardwaj, Dharmendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Dhirendra Sachan, Dr. Vandana Verma, Prem Prakash. Singh, Aryaka Akhauri, Sunil Kumar Verma, Anita Verma Singh, Shishir, Satya Prakash Patel, Dr. Kanchan Saran and Raghubir. Chandni Singh of this batch has been given proforma promotion and it will be mandatory for all to undergo mid-career training within three years.

Promotion and Senior Time Scale of other batches
Rajesh Kumar Tyagi of the year 2012 batch has also been given selection grade of Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900. At the same time, 13 officers of the year 2022 batch have been provided senior time scale. These include Shruti Sharma, Gamini Singla, Utkarsh Dwivedi, Abhinav J Jain, Dr. Deeksha Joshi, Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta, Pooja Sahu, Rameshwar Sudhakar Sabbanwad, Prafull Kumar Sharma, Neha Byadwal, Rammohan Mein, Alok Prasad and Saurabh.

This big promotion will strengthen the administrative system of the state and the experience and ability of IAS officers can be properly utilized. This step is considered important for his career development and better administrative work.
