Now Yogi government is going to make another city of the state a new center of tourism and entertainment. For which the exercise has started. Actually, Yogi government is now going to develop Taj city Agra also. After that Tajnagari will not be limited to monuments only. Rather, it will be included among the most beautiful tourist centers of the world.

Let us tell you that Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) has started preparations to develop ‘New Agra’ (New Agra Urban Centre) as one of the best tourism and entertainment centers in the world. This new city, to be built under the Master Plan 2041, will have modern facilities like riverfront, theme park and wellness center for tourists and will be the main center of attraction for tourists.

The new city will have a green river buffer zone and walkway.

To keep the new Agra close to nature, YIDA is going to develop ‘Green River Buffer Zone’ in 823.7 hectares. Where there will be boating facility on the banks of Yamuna, which will attract the tourists, along with this there will be facility of beautiful walkway. Not only this, many species of colorful flowers and rare trees and plants will be planted in this new city. Due to which the city will get pure and fresh air. This new city will be developed in three phases. Which will be spread over an area of ​​14,480 hectares. Where arrangements will be made for 15 lakh people to live and work.

There will be a confluence of wellness and handicraft in new Agra

Not only this, under the master plan of YIDA, New Agra is also going to become a big center of ‘wellness tourism’. Where a ‘Biophilic Wellness Center’ will be built. Where people will get yoga, Ayurvedic massage and natural remedies, so that they can keep their mind and body healthy. Not only this, the new city will also promote local art. For which a special area has been reserved. Here tourists will also be able to come face to face with traditional handicrafts like pottery, wood carving, textile dyeing and painting.

Sports village and golf course will also be developed

Apart from this, the new Agra will also be very special for entertainment. For entertainment, an international level golf course will be developed in 100 hectares in the city and a state-of-the-art ‘sports village’ will be developed in 100 hectares. Apart from this, there is also a proposal to build a biodiversity park in 40 hectares. 3.08 percent of the new Agra i.e. about 460 hectares area will be reserved only for entertainment and greenery.

Luxury hotels will be built in the new city

ACEO YIDA Shailendra Bhatia says that 405 hectares of area has been identified for tourism sector in the master plan. Where luxury and budget hotels, resorts and exhibition centers will be built. Because this area comes under the Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ), there will be a complete ban on polluting industries here. Only industries with pollution score less than 20 will get a place here. So that the beauty and environment of Taj Mahal remains safe. At present, objections are being sought from the common people on this revised master plan, after which the development work of the new city will be started.
