Yogi government’s big step after Noida violence, high-power committee formed

The Uttar Pradesh government has constituted a high-level committee to control the situation arising after the violent protest by factory workers in Noida and find a solution. This committee formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will work under the chairmanship of the Industrial Development Commissioner. In this, senior officials of MSME Department, Labor Department as well as representatives of labor organizations and industry have also been included, so that the views of all parties can be heard in a balanced manner and progress can be made towards a solution.

What does the administration say?

According to government sources, the main objective of this committee is to calm the deteriorating industrial environment in Noida and to resolve the dispute arising between workers and industries regarding wage increase and other demands through mutual dialogue. The administration says that any kind of anarchy or activities challenging law and order will not be tolerated in the state. It has also been made clear that if any kind of political conspiracy or vested interest comes to light behind the recent incidents, then a detailed investigation will be done.

According to the order issued, this committee has started working with immediate effect to control industrial unrest in Gautam Buddha Nagar. The committee members have already reached Noida and are taking stock of the situation and the process of establishing direct communication with the workers as well as industry representatives has been started, so that the problems on the ground can be understood better.

What does the government believe?

Representatives of a total of five major labor organizations as well as members of three industrial organizations have been included in this panel. Its objective is to establish better coordination between both the parties and to continue the industrial activities smoothly without any hindrance. The government believes that a permanent solution is possible only through dialogue and cooperation.

On the other hand, the government has also reiterated that strict action will be taken against elements trying to create unrest or worsen the situation in industrial areas. The administration says that law and order is the top priority in Uttar Pradesh and no compromise will be made in this. The government is committed to solving the genuine problems of the workers, but at the same time maintaining peace and stability is equally important. The committee has been instructed to submit its recommendations to the government as soon as possible, so that further action can be taken quickly and the situation can become normal.
