Yogi government’s blast on New Year! Now you will not have to go to office for house map, get it yourself

Lucknow: On the occasion of New Year, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given a huge gift to the people of the state. If you are also dreaming of building your own house or shop, then now you are free from the long queues and hassles of Development Authority (LDA) offices. The government has launched a new software, through which now the plot owners themselves will be able to submit the map of their house and shop.

Under this new and modern system, people just have to apply online and within a few minutes their map will be approved and in their hands. Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has named this ‘Fast Track System’ as ‘Fastpass’ under the new building bylaws, which is going to provide great relief to the people of the city.

These people will get direct benefit

According to LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar, the benefit of the Fastpass system will be available to those who want to do small residential or commercial construction. Under this system, the owners themselves will be able to approve the map of residential plots up to 100 square meters and commercial buildings up to 30 square meters. There will be no need for any middleman for this. People just have to go to the government portal map.up.gov.in and complete the online application process. This entire system has been made digital and transparent so that there is no scope for corruption.

Registration will be done sitting at home using mobile number

The process to avail this facility is very simple. The Vice President informed that first of all the applicant will have to go to the portal and register his name and mobile number. After successful registration, a login ID and password will be generated. With the help of this ID, applicants will be able to upload the proposed map of their building on the website. The best thing is that whatever government fee is charged for the map, it can also be paid online on the portal.

Landowner Responsibilities and Rules

However, there are some conditions attached to the facility of passing the map itself. While applying, it will be mandatory to ensure that the land use of the concerned land is as per the master plan. The applicant will have to fill all the information correctly on the portal like the exact location of the plot, width of the surrounding roads, height of the building, covered area and parking. As soon as you submit all the details and map on the portal, the system will immediately process it and within minutes you will receive the ‘Self-Certified’ map and certificate.
