With the new system of the government, people will get relief from visiting government offices and work will be done in a more transparent manner than before.
1. Application for map approval will be done sitting at home
Now people will not need to go to the District Panchayat office to get the map of house, shop or other buildings approved. The government has started the facility of online application through Online Revenue Management System (ORMS) portal. On this portal, people will be able to apply for map approval sitting at home. This will save time and also make the process easier.
2. Will be able to deposit tax online
Giving great relief to the taxpayers, the government has also made the facility of tax payment online. Now people will be able to pay their taxes easily through ORMS portal. With this new system, the payment process will be more transparent and people will get rid of the trouble of standing in long queues.
3. The work of District Panchayats is digital
Panchayati Raj Department has directed that notices, RCs and other administrative work related to District Panchayats will also be done through the portal. This will speed up departmental work and records will be available online securely. Due to which people will get relief from unnecessary running around. At the same time, the income of District Panchayats will also increase, due to which they will become economically stronger.
