Yogi government’s ultimatum: It is okay if the rights of workers are affected, CM said – ‘If you do not pay the price for the work, then all the work will be done’

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given the biggest shout so far in the interest of crores of workers of the state during the ‘Shramveer Gaurav Samaroh’. CM Yogi has warned the employers and industrialists in a very strict tone and made it clear that the price of the sweat of the workers will have to be paid under any circumstances. The Chief Minister bluntly said that the government will not shy away from completing the work of any organization or owner who does not pay fair wages to the workers for their work.

Workers and industry complement each other

The Chief Minister emphasized that the progress and industrial peace of the state is possible only when there is coordination between workers and employers. He said that workers and industry complement each other. To maintain a peaceful environment in the state, it is necessary that the workers not only get the right amount for their work, but are also given full respect in the society.

Health cover of Rs 5 lakh to crores of workers

On the special occasion of May Day, CM Yogi opened the government treasury for the construction workers of the state. Making a big announcement, he said that now 15.83 crore labor families of UP will get free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh. About 80 lakh people will get the direct benefit of this scheme. The Chief Minister became emotional and said that now no laborer in the state will die due to lack of treatment, the government will take full responsibility for their health.

State-of-the-art hospitals will be built in Greater Noida and Gorakhpur

The government is going to set up a network of big hospitals to provide better treatment to the workers. CM said that a huge 300-bed ESIC hospital will be built on seven acres of land in the Knowledge Park of Greater Noida. Along with this, five acres of land has also been identified in Gorakhpur. Not only this, new ESIC hospitals will also be opened in 34 other districts of the state, so that the workers do not have to run to big cities for treatment.

New wage board and great package will come soon

To improve the economic condition of the workers, CM Yogi has ordered the Labor Department to constitute a new ‘Wage Board’ as soon as possible. He assured that as soon as the Wage Board report comes, the government will implement an economic package for all the workers which can improve their standard of living. The government aims to connect one crore families with free health coverage in future in collaboration with insurance companies and industries.

House to stay and cheap canteen to eat

The master plan is also ready to solve the problem of housing and food for the workers working in cities. Now cheap ‘dormitories’ (night shelters) and affordable canteens will be built near industrial areas. For this, the Industrial Development Department will provide land and the Housing Department will change its policies so that workers can get affordable accommodation near their workplace.

A school will be built for the children of workers in Jewar

Giving wings to the dream of making the children of laborers as officers and engineers, the CM laid the foundation stone of ‘Chief Minister Composite School’ in Jewar. This school will be equipped with hi-tech facilities like ‘Atal Residential Schools’. In the end, the Chief Minister appealed to the workers not to get misled by anyone. He clearly said that only when there is industrial peace in the state, there will be prosperity and progress in the homes of workers.
