Lucknow, 30 December. A day before the New Year, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shared a special letter ‘Yogi Ki Paati’ to the people of the state. Through this, the Chief Minister has reiterated his resolve to make Uttar Pradesh a global center of technology and innovation. CM Yogi has made it clear that in the coming year, the entire focus of the government is going to be on future-oriented areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), semiconductor and data center.
Chief Minister Yogi said in his message that there are preparations to develop two major cities of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow and Noida, as AI cities. Its objective is to bring Uttar Pradesh to the forefront on the global IT map. Along with this, the construction work of semiconductor unit in Jewar at a cost of Rs 3700 crore is also progressing rapidly, which will change the industrial scenario of the state. CM Yogi said that due to the state’s ‘secure data center’ policy, the confidence of investors has increased.
The state government has set a target of investing Rs 30,000 crore in the data center sector. Currently, commercial use of 5 hyperscale data center parks has started. Apart from this, ‘Software Technology Parks’ have been established in 9 other cities of the state, which are opening new doors of employment for the local youth. He said that I would like my young friends to take a special resolution for the year 2026. Make 5 children around you aware about computers and AI. Take out at least one hour every week for ‘Gyanadan’.
The Chief Minister wrote on social media ‘X’, “It is time to enter the English year 2026. The year 2025 will be remembered for setting new standards of innovation in technology, AI and data. Uttar Pradesh is creating new standards of future-oriented development. You will be happy to know that the government is getting promising success in giving direction to the digital future of the state and making it a center of investment.”
He wrote that investment can be safe only when the society and the state are safe. The rule of good governance in the state has strengthened ‘Brand UP’ across the world. Uttar Pradesh has now become a state of investor confidence. There are preparations to establish ‘AI City’ in Lucknow and Noida. Semiconductor unit is being constructed in Jewar at a cost of Rs 3,700 crore. The success of the data center policy made keeping in mind ‘indigenous centres, secure data’ is beginning to be seen.
CM wrote, ‘Commercial use of 5 hyperscale data center parks has started. The target is to invest Rs 30,000 crore in the data center sector. Software Technology Parks have been established in 9 cities. We are also setting new records every day in drone, robotics and mobile production. AI training is being given to 10 lakh citizens through ‘AI Pragya’. Thousands of new jobs are being created.”
He wrote, “I would like my young friends to take a special resolution for the year 2026. You should make 5 children around you aware about computers and AI. Take out at least one hour every week for ‘Gyan Daan’. The combined efforts of the government and you will not only fulfill the dream of a developed Uttar Pradesh, but will also be helpful in establishing UP as the global capital of science and technology.”
