Azamgarh, 7 March. Uttar Pradesh government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, while reacting to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Rajya Sabha candidature, said that his dream is to go to the Upper House and do politics. The BJP alliance has openly invited him. Speaking to a news agency, Om Prakash Rajbhar said, “When a person becomes a chief, when he stays for five years, he thinks that now we should go above this. He talks about becoming a district panchayat. The one who becomes a district panchayat, thinks of becoming an MLA. The one who becomes an MLA, thinks of becoming a minister. The one who becomes a minister, thinks of becoming a chief minister. The one who becomes a chief minister, dreams of becoming a prime minister. Now, if he becomes a prime minister, he dreams of becoming the president.”
He further said, “CM Nitish himself posted about going to Rajya Sabha and said that ‘going to the Upper House is his personal decision and I am going to Delhi. I have never gone to Rajya Sabha.’ Nitish Kumar’s dream is to go to the Upper House and do politics. Who stops them? He is the master himself. The BJP alliance openly invited him. BJP also showed it by making him the Chief Minister in Bihar. On speculations about making BJP the Chief Minister in Bihar, Rajbhar said, “It is the responsibility of the MLAs of the House to decide who will be chosen as the Chief Minister. We are with NDA.”
Meanwhile, Om Prakash Rajbhar targeted Congress and Samajwadi Party. He said, “The story of SP and Congress is completely different. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav speak only against each other. They speak against the government on every issue, only then they get some votes. When they start praising the government’s schemes, they will not get a single vote.”
Minister Rajbhar said, “In the SP government, the disabled used to get a pension of Rs 300 and the elderly got Rs 500. The BJP government has given equal respect to everyone and increased everyone’s pension to Rs 1,000. In the previous governments, there used to be looting regarding the financial assistance given to farmers. The money was looted from the middle. Now all the leakages have stopped. This is why the people of the opposition protest.”
