A Bangladeshi waiter has been accused of making anti-India comments towards some young Indian tourists at a restaurant in Italy. There has been an uproar on social media over the whole incident. But in the end, the accused waiter apologized to the protest of the young women.
It is known that some young women recently went to Italy. There they went to eat in a restaurant. At that time, a worker of the restaurant quarreled with them. But it is not known what caused this dispute. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media (though the authenticity of the video has not been verified by the news daily Digital). There, the accused worker was heard abusing India. Addressing the young women, he said, “You come from that stupid country! The country is very bad.” After that, the young women joined the protest. The accused was forced to apologise. Finally, under pressure, the waiter apologized.

As soon as the video spread on social media, there was a storm of controversy. A netizen wrote, ‘Should have filed a complaint with the police. He needs to be punished.’ Another netizen wrote, ‘Thank you for the way the young women forced the waiter to forgive. You are true patriots. I feel proud.’
