AI Doctor Advice: The world’s largest tech companies are rapidly increasing the use of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector. In this regard, big tech company Amazon Health AI Has launched a new healthcare-based AI tool named. The company announced on Tuesday that this new AI assistant will now be available on Amazon’s main website and mobile app.

Previously, this feature was only One Medical App Which was bought by Amazon in 2023 for about $3.9 billion. With this major update, more users will be able to take advantage of Health AI and ask medical questions directly from the Amazon platform.

AI will make many health tasks easier

Amazon’s new Health AI is designed to help with a variety of healthcare tasks. Users can ask common medical questions, understand their health reports and get medication information.

Additionally, this AI assistant offers many important features, such as:

  • Help with prescription renewal
  • booking a doctor appointment
  • Giving important information about medicines

Most importantly, users do not need to be Prime members or One Medical members to use this feature. The company says that anyone can go to Amazon’s platform and start a conversation with this AI.

Works as a personal health assistant

According to Amazon, Health AI does not access a person’s medical file to answer common health questions. However, if the user gives permission to share his health information, the system starts working as a personal health assistant. In this situation, AI can understand the user’s health information and provide more accurate advice, and connect them to a doctor or appropriate treatment option when needed.

What Amazon said about security

If a user needs professional medical advice, Health AI can connect them to One Medical doctors. Amazon Prime members in the US will also get five free direct message consultations with One Medical doctors for over 30 common ailments.

These include cold, flu, allergies, acid reflux, eye infections, urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction, hair fall and some skin diseases. Non-Prime members can also consult a doctor, but they will have to pay for each visit.

How to start using Health AI

Those who want to use this new Health AI assistant can sign up by visiting the Amazon Health page. As soon as this service is launched for individual users, they will be informed through email.

Once accessed, users will need to create an Amazon Health profile or log in with their existing account. They can then start a chat with Health AI by typing a question directly into the Amazon website or mobile app. For example, a user can ask AI to decipher a cholesterol test report or get advice on symptoms like cold, sore throat and nasal congestion.
