‘You ruined Nitish, now what did Tejashwi Yadav say about Nishant Kumar?
Rashtriya Janata Dal’s working president Tejashwi Yadav expressed confidence about the victory of opposition candidate AD Singh in the ongoing Rajya Sabha elections in Bihar. He said his party has enough numbers to win a Rajya Sabha seat from the NDA. RJD and its allies have 35 MLAs in the Assembly, need the support of 41 MLAs to send AD Singh to Rajya Sabha.
Tejashwi Yadav said that there are 5 MLAs from AIMIM and one from BSP. Both the parties have extended their support to the RJD candidate. He said, ‘We are confident. Earlier the number of grand alliance was 35. 41 MLAs are needed to win. BJP-NDA needed 3 MLAs, but we accepted this challenge and decided to fight BJP and not bow down before them. AIMIM and BSP allies have supported the RJD candidate. So, now the number is 41.

Statement given regarding Nishant Kumar
Meanwhile, Tejashwi gave a statement regarding JDU leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar. He said that he would not at all oppose Nishant Kumar’s entry into politics and the youth who want to enter politics should be allowed to do so.
‘We will welcome him into politics’
Tejashwi said, ‘Why would we oppose the youth who wants to enter politics? Be it Nishant Kumar or any other youth who wants to come into politics and serve the society in the spirit of saving the Constitution, saving democracy and saving brotherhood, we will welcome him into politics. But he is with those who ruined his father. They have to understand this.

‘BJP ruined Nitish Kumar’
He also reacted to Nitish Kumar going to Rajya Sabha. Tejashwi said, ‘I have expressed my sympathy towards Nitish Kumar. The day he left the Grand Alliance to return to BJP in 2024, I had said that JDU has no future left. I had said that Nitish Kumar will not be the Chief Minister after the elections. BJP repeated what they had done in Maharashtra, but in a slightly different way. BJP destroys whoever it supports.
Let us tell you that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is contesting the elections for Rajya Sabha as an NDA candidate along with Nitin Naveen, Upendra Kushwaha, Shivesh Ram and Ram Nath Thakur.
