New Delhi:- The special thing is that now the facility of free treatment is also being provided to the card holders of Ayushman Bharat Scheme. People from far-flung areas come here to get their eye problems treated and in many cases get the opportunity to see the world again.

Sadhguru Eye Hospital located in Janaki Kund, Chitrakoot is also known as 'Mini AIIMS' in the matter of eye treatment. Every year the eyes of lakhs of people are treated in this prestigious hospital. People from all over the country come to Sadhguru Eye Hospital to get treatment for problems like cataract, glaucoma and retina. Nearly lakhs of cataract operations are performed every year in the hospital, due to which thousands of people regain their vision.

Trustee of the hospital, Dr. Ilesh Jain said that recently Sadguru Eye Hospital has provided special facility for Ayushman card holders. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, any patient who comes here for treatment will get free treatment. Patients coming here from any corner of the country and having Ayushman card can get free cataract operation done by showing it.

There is also a facility for those who do not have Ayushman card. Eye camps are being organized in every village by Sadhguru Eye Hospital where people can get free eye checkup done. The patients attending these camps suffering from cataract are also given free treatment.

Dr. Jain said that these camps are operated in about 5,000 to 6,000 villages where people are given information about eye problems and they are provided proper treatment.
