You will be shocked if you watch the 19-minute viral video! You will be shocked to know the real truth
Instagram couple viral video: For the last few days, a 19 minutes 34 seconds long video is becoming increasingly viral on social media. People are calling it “Instagram couple’s MMS”. This video is doing the rounds everywhere on WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, Instagram reels and Twitter. Some people are even sharing “Part-2” and “Part-3”. But now the cyber cell of Haryana Police has clearly stated that the entire matter is fake!
Who is spreading this video?
The video was first shared by some unknown Telegram channels and pages with adult content. After that the common users proceeded without thinking. Millions of people are searching, downloading and sending it to their friends. But actually the girl and boy seen in this video are not a real Instagram couple.
What is the truth?
Haryana Police Cyber Cell officer Amit Yadav himself posted the video on Instagram and said – “This entire 19-minute video has been generated by AI (Artificial Intelligence). Even the faces, voices and bodies seen in it are fake.” The Part-2 and Part-3 that are coming after that have also been made with AI tools. That means, this video is neither of any real couple, nor has it been recorded by anyone with a camera. The entire clip is fake!
When and where did it start going viral?
The video was first posted on some private channels of Telegram 5-6 days ago. After that it quickly spread on WhatsApp and Instagram Reels. Even now, every hour thousands of people are searching keywords like “19 minute video”, “Instagram couple MMS” on Google and YouTube.
Why was this fake video made?
According to the police, there are two main objectives of making such fake AI videos. Earning money by increasing views and subscribers. To blackmail people or violate their privacy. Many times such videos are made by linking the face of a real person to AI so that he can be blackmailed later.
How to know if a video is made with AI?
Amit Yadav told that any person can go to a free website named Sightengine.com and upload a video or photo and check in 10 seconds whether it is AI generated or not. He appealed to the people – “First check, then share.”
If shared then straight jail and fine of lakhs!
If you also download or forward this video, you may get into trouble. There is a strict provision for this in Indian law. Section 67 of IT Act: If caught for the first time, 3 years in jail + fine up to Rs 5 lakh. If caught again, 5 years imprisonment. Section 67A: 5 years imprisonment + 10 lakh fine for the first time, 7 years imprisonment for the second time. IPC sections 292, 293 and 354C (voyeurism) may also be imposed. The police is clearly saying – do not download, do not share, do not upload. If you see it, delete it immediately.
