Commission told the total number of voters in India

According to the Election Commission of India, the total number of voters in India has reached 99.1 crore. This number shows the increasing participation of people in the democratic process of the country. The Commission has also pointed out that the electoral roll is young and gender balanced, which is a sign of a healthy democratic society.

According to statistics, there are 21.7 crore young voters in the age group of 18-29 years in India, who will play an important role in shaping the future of the country. Apart from this, the sex ratio of voters in the country has increased from 948 in 2024 to 954 in 2025, which shows the political participation of women.

There will soon be 1 billion voters

According to the Election Commission, there will soon be more than 1 billion voters in the country. This will be a new record and it shows the strength of India's democracy. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar had recently given this information while releasing the schedule for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025.

Assembly elections for 70 seats in Delhi are scheduled to be held on February 5 and the results will be declared on February 8. This election will be another example of the vibrancy of democracy in the country.
