You yourself are struggling, when the bodyguard had rejected Mika Singh, today he is handling his security.

New Delhi . The success story of famous Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been quite interesting. Today his songs have become the life of every party and major event and many bodyguards are deployed for his security. However, there was a time when a bodyguard refused to give him work saying that you are struggling yourself. The interesting thing is that today the same person is a part of Mika Singh’s security team.

Recently, during a conversation with Farah Khan, Mika Singh shared this interesting anecdote. He had called Farah Khan to his farmhouse in Delhi, where he introduced her to his bodyguard Kartar. Meanwhile, Mika told that he had met Kartar for the first time about 30 years ago. Seeing his strong physique, Mika had asked him if he would like to become his bodyguard. On this, Kartar had replied in clear words, first start the work yourself, you yourself are struggling.

Recalling this incident humorously, Mika Singh said that usually people work hard to impress girls, but he achieved success so that one day he could make Kartar his bodyguard. Kartar also confirmed this and said that he had indeed refused to give work to Mika at that time.

During the conversation, Mika Singh also mentioned the spiritual connection behind his success. He told that his father used to perform kirtan in Gurudwaras, due to which he and his elder brother Daler Mehndi got a musical environment since childhood. Mika said that like many singers of Punjab, he also got his initial education in music from Gurudwaras and during that time he used to play tabla in kirtans.

Mika Singh also told that he has fulfilled a special dream of his life. There is a Gurudwara in his farmhouse in Delhi, where lessons continue 24 hours. When Farah Khan asked about his ‘bad boy’ image, Mika said that he has been very religious from the beginning.

  • Recalling his early days, Mika Singh told that he once used to play guitar in his elder brother Daler Mehndi’s ‘Maharaja Band’ and also handled the backstage work. Later, when he decided to make his first solo album ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’ and parted ways with the band, this decision was emotional for Daler Mehndi. In a show, Daler Mehndi himself had told that he cried for four days after Mika’s separation. Despite this, he fully supported his younger brother and also helped him set up his first studio.
