The attack on a young man with bullet and knife after chasing him for 22 kilometers in Itkhedi, Bhopal, raises questions on law and order. This seems to be a planned crime. Police have arrested two accused, while the main accused is absconding. The condition of injured Danish is improving, investigation is ongoing.
Madhya Pradesh: Injured Danish Ali told that he had gone with his wife in a Scorpio car on Friday night to attend a friend’s reception in Itkhedi. After the program was over, both were returning home. On the way, Danish stopped the car near Itkhedi Kalari and got down to toilet on the roadside.
Meanwhile, two youths riding a bike reached there. Seeing them, Danish became suspicious, so he immediately sat back in the car. Then about half a dozen youths riding on two other bikes came there from the front and attacked.
Bullets and knife attack
According to Danish, the accused forcibly dragged him out of the car. After this, more than three rounds were fired, out of which two bullets hit him. Not only this, the attackers also attacked continuously with knives.
During the attack, Danish’s wife kept screaming for help, but due to panic no passerby came forward. While trying to intervene, his wife also got a knife in her hand and got injured. While running away, the attackers threatened, saying, ‘We said we would shoot, we shot’.
allegation of old rivalry
Danish told the police that he had an old enmity with the attackers. He has already had a dispute with a Russian living in the station area. Danish alleges that the Russian and his associates carried out this incident.
Police have detained two accused named Shahbez and Fardeen in this case late Saturday night. Meanwhile, other accused including Shannu and Zubair are still absconding. Itkhedi police station in-charge Ashish Sapre said that two police teams have been formed to arrest the accused and soon everyone will be caught.
Chased for 22 kilometers
Danish says that the accused were following him ever since he left the venue. After chasing them for about 22 kilometers, they got the right opportunity and attacked. The police is also investigating from the angle that the accused carried out the crime after planning it in advance.

Danish underwent surgery on Saturday, in which the bullet stuck in his leg was taken out. According to doctors, his condition is now stable, but he has been kept under observation.
In the attack, Danish was stabbed more than a dozen times with a knife in his hands and legs. About 42 stitches have been applied on different wounds. The wife’s condition is also said to be out of danger.
Video statement of accused Russian
Meanwhile, the accused Russian, who is said to be the mastermind of the incident, has released a video. In the video he claimed that he was in Delhi three days before the incident and had nothing to do with the attack.
Rusi said that he definitely has an ancestral dispute with Danish’s family, but because of this rivalry, he is being implicated in a false case. His allegation is that the complainant party deliberately wants to drag his name and send him to jail. Police is also investigating this video.
