How to take care of skin: Dr. Asha Saklani, Dermatologist says that it is very important to maintain the skin care and cleaning routine amidst the hustle and bustle of work and festivals. Along with this, it is important to give priority to makeup related precautions like removing makeup properly, using good quality products with minimum amount of chemicals. Dermatologist, Dr Asha Saklani tells that when it comes to skin care and cleaning routine, following these steps during or after festivals can be very beneficial in maintaining skin health.

Deep Cleaning: Clean the skin thoroughly. Use scrub once a week so that dead skin cells are removed. Don't forget to moisturize the skin after scrub. Apart from this, every day whenever you come home from outside, do deep cleansing to remove the makeup, dust and pollution particles present on the skin. For this, face wash with a good makeup cleaning oil or cream can also be used.

Take care of hydration: To keep the skin hydrated, drink enough water and use moisturizer twice a day. This keeps the skin soft and supple.
Use face pack: Apply the pack on face and neck according to the nature of the skin. At the same time, homemade face packs, like a mixture of gram flour, curd and turmeric also help in brightening the skin. This brings natural glow to the skin.

Apply Sunscreen: To prepare for Diwali, one has to go out, so make sure to use sunscreen so that the skin remains protected from the harmful rays of the sun.
