New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday emphasised the critical role of India’s youth in transforming the country into a developed nation. Addressing Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, he described his relationship with the youth as a “best friend” connection, built on a foundation of trust.
During his address, the Prime Minister paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda, recalling the spiritual leader’s deep confidence in the power of the younger generation. Swami Vivekananda believed that young people would rise to solve every challenge and build a better future for the country. PM Modi echoed these sentiments, saying that just as Swami Vivekananda trusted the youth, he has full faith in Vivekananda’s vision and the abilities of India’s new generation.
