Noida: A young man fell into the drain of Sector-52 of Sector-24 police station area of Noida. He could not be saved. He died due to drowning. The family members alleged that the Noida Authority has left the drains of the city open. The youth has been identified as Rohit (35 years). He was married. He used to work as a laborer nearby. Rohit lived with his family near Sector-52.
He went for a walk on Saturday morning. During this time he got a call from someone. His foot slipped while talking on the phone. Suddenly fell into the drain. Stuck in silt and water debris in the drain. And kept sinking. It was told that no one even heard his voice. When Rohit did not return home for a long time, the family started searching. His mobile was found near the drain. Information was given to the police. After this, Rohit's body was taken out with the help of crane and diver. The body has been sent for post-mortem. During this time a large crowd of villagers gathered. The police explained to the people and pacified them and sent them home. People allege that due to the negligence of the authority, people have been losing their lives by falling into the drain since last few days.
