What is Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana?

Through this scheme, a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh is given to fish farmers without any guarantee at an interest rate of up to 7 percent. This scheme was started in September 2020. Subsidy of 40% of the cost is being given to the general category people. Subsidy up to 60% is being given to women belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.

Thousands of people of Bihar are taking advantage of this scheme. Two and a half thousand people are taking advantage of this scheme in entire Bihar. This work is being done most rapidly in Patna. About 240 people from Patna are involved in this employment.
