YouTube entry in board exam! QR code of CBSE 12th paper becomes topic of discussion
K News Desktop- During the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE Board Exam 2026, an incident has come to light, which has increased the concern of students and parents. Actually, on scanning the QR code given on the Class 12 Mathematics question paper, the YouTube link started opening. After this, the discussion regarding this intensified on social media and many students started fearing that they might have solved the fake question paper.
CBSE Class 12 Mathematics paper was held on March 9 across the country. The examination was conducted peacefully, but after the examination, when some students went home and scanned the QR code given on the question paper, on scanning one of the codes, a link to a YouTube video started opening.
As soon as this incident came to light, an atmosphere of panic was created among the students and parents. Many students started worrying that if the question paper is fake then their examination may be affected and they may also be in danger of failure.
After the issue gained prominence, CBSE issued an official clarification. The board said that there are many types of questions in the question papers. Security features are provided, which also include QR code. This QR code is used to check the authenticity of the question paper in case of any security breach.
The board made it clear that the Mathematics question paper was completely genuine and its security has not been compromised. Therefore, students and parents do not need to panic.
CBSE also said that the matter has been taken seriously and the board is taking necessary steps to ensure that such technical issues related to QR codes do not recur in future.
Meanwhile, the board also informed that due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East, CBSE examinations in 6 countries have been postponed for the time being.
However, the examinations in India are going on as per the schedule and now the Board Exams 2026 are moving towards their conclusion.
