YouTube Recap Launch: Now know what you watched throughout the year, which videos were your favourites.

YouTube Recap Launched: YouTube has finally released its much awaited YouTube Recap Feature has been released. Through this new feature, users will be able to see videos watched, favorite channels, interests, top content and a detailed analysis of their watching patterns throughout the year. Although the feature is not yet available in India, Google has confirmed that “it will be rolled out to Indian users by the end of the week.”

What is YouTube Recap?

According to the company, YouTube Recap is an annual feature that presents users’ video-watching activity throughout the year in the form of attractive cards. These cards will feature a user’s interests, deep dives, favorite creators and personal watching habits in detail. Users will receive up to 12 special cards based on their preferences and viewing style, summarizing their digital behavior throughout the year.

YouTube said that before launching this feature, a total of 9 rounds of feedback were taken and more than 50 concept tests were conducted, after which its final design was prepared. This means that the company has put a lot of effort into making Recap more useful and personalized.

Recap will give you a complete overview of your Top Artists, Top Songs, Top Genres, Top Podcasts, and international music listening patterns. All of this data will be available within the YouTube Music app, allowing users to see a summary of their entire year’s music experience in one place. This feature will not only help users understand their preferences but also reveal what kind of content they engage with the most.
