YouTube Update- YouTube has brought a new feature, now the video will play on every screen.

Friends, as we all know that YouTube is the world’s most popular video watching platform, which has millions of users, hence it is bringing the popular Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature for its users. Earlier this feature was limited to some special users, but now it will gradually become available to everyone, let us know its complete details.

Previously, the PiP feature was limited to:

Was available primarily to Premium subscribers outside the US.

Access was limited to some non-Premium users within the US.

Now, Google has confirmed to bring it worldwide. This means that users around the world will soon be able to enjoy videos in a floating window, without having to stay inside the app.

How does the PiP feature work?

Picture-in-Picture turns the video into a small floating window that remains on your screen:

It turns on automatically when you exit the app or press the Home button.

The mini player can be moved anywhere on the screen.

It also runs on top of other apps, allowing multitasking without any interruption.

Who will benefit from this update?

Non-Premium users (Android and iOS) will be able to use PiP for longer videos and videos without music.

Premium users will continue to enjoy PiP for both music and non-music content.

This provides more convenience to all types of users.

How to turn PiP on or off?

Android users: Settings → Apps → YouTube → Turn on Picture-in-Picture.

To turn it off, turn off PiP in Playback settings inside the app.
