He asks his students to not leave the class without his permission. Abhira enters the class and ignores him. Armaan then switches up and requests to do things as their heart pleases. A student swoons and says that Armaan’s girlfriend or wife will be a lucky girl. Armaan overhears this and replies that his wife is upset with him, but he is sure he can convince her. Armaan indirectly confesses that he did not hurt Abhira intentionally.
Meanwhile, Kaveri remains furious at Armaan for avoiding his work and going after Abhira once again. Sanjay sneaks himself in and suggests that he can handle Amraan’s cases. However, Manoj argues that Armaan did not quit the firm, he was simply on a small break. However, Kaveri opines that Armaan’s negligence will hurt the firm. When Manisha advises Kaveri, Sanjay taunts that she only knows how to cook in the kitchen and should not advise Kaveri. Madhav immediately backs Manisha’s advice and says that Armaan will surely succeed in winning back Abhira’s love.

At the college, Abhira attempts to avoid Armaan. When a student flirts with Abhira, Armaan gets jealous and warns him to focus on his academics. On the other hand, the Poddars inform their clients that Armaan will not be available for a while. Kaveri still remains angry at Armaan for avoiding his duties at the firm. Krish hopes that Armaan can impress Abhira soon and get back before Kaveri’s temper rises.
As Abhira continues to avoid Armaan, they inevitably end up getting locked in a library together. As Abhira screams for help, Armaan uses this opportunity to speak with Abhira about their divorce. This is when the rest of the students learn that Abhira and Armaan are husband and wife. Meanwhile, Kaveri tries to think of a solution for the lack of manpower at the firm. Manoj assures Kaveri that Armaan will get back to work soon enough. However, they still worry about Abhira’s pending cases. Madhav chimes in that Abhira is a talented lawyer and she will also handle her cases with time.

Abhira decides to focus on her studies and nothing else. Later, Armaan returns home dejected at his failed attempts to speak with Abhira. The Poddars learn that Abhira avoided Armaan the entire day and requested him to focus on the firm instead. However, when Armaan continues to defend Abhira, Kaveri decides to replace Armaan at the firm. The family is shocked to learn about Kaveri’s decision. Kaveri immediately asks Sanjay to find a replacement for Armaan. But, Armaan asks Kaveri for time. Kaveri eventually gives in and gives him an ultimatum to convince Abhira within eight days or divorce her for good.
