Yuvraj Singh has also been counted among the most prominent players of IPL, who used to show his talent with batting as well as bowling. On the basis of his bowling, Yuvi has made a record in IPL, which has remained intact for the last 17 years.
Left-handed all-rounder Yuvraj was a part of IPL from 2008 to 2019. He played the first three seasons of his career for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings). In 2009, he had made such a great record, which no other player has been able to make till now.
Yuvraj Singh took two hat-tricks in 2009
Actually, in IPL 2009, Yuvraj was successful in taking 6 wickets while playing for Kings XI Punjab. In that season he had achieved the feat of taking hat-trick twice. Yuvraj Singh is the only player in IPL who has taken two hat-tricks in one season.
Yuvi took his first hat-trick on May 1, 2009 in the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He completed this hat-trick in two overs. The left-handed all-rounder showed the way to the pavilion on the fifth ball of the 12th over to Robin Uthappa and on the sixth ball to Jacques Kallis. After this, he got Mark Boucher out LBW on the first ball of his next over.
After this, Yuvi achieved the feat of taking a hat-trick against Deccan Charges in the same season. In this match also, the left-handed all-rounder completed his hat-trick in two overs. Yuvraj made Harshal Gibbs his victim in the 12th over of Deccan Charges’ innings. After this, he achieved two more successes in the form of Andrew Symonds on the first two balls of the 14th over and Venugopal Rao on the second ball.

44-year-old Yuvraj represented 6 teams in his IPL career. He scored 2750 runs in 132 matches, which included 13 half-centuries. In bowling, Yuvi managed to take 36 wickets.
