Yuzi Chahal Writes Touchy Message to Jos Buttler
Yuzi Chahal Writes Touchy Message to Jos Buttler: Yuzi Chahal has a special bond with his Rajasthan Royals colleague Jos Buttler. The pair have been spotted joking around in a lot of lighthearted videos in earlier IPL seasons in RR jerseys. But this time, it’s not so sure that they will both be seen in the Pink in IPL 2025. The reason is that both have not been retained by the franchise and will be going to the IPL 2025 auction.
Yuzi Chahal Writes Touchy Message to Jos Buttler
In his recent post on Instagram, Chahal shared a video and wrote some beautiful but hilarious words to Buttler.
“In 2022 I knew him as Jos Buttler. In 2024, he’s my Jos bhai. ❤️,” Chahal continued
“Loved every day being around you and only a few people know what you’ve done for me. Thank you for always standing by me. And hopefully, on some evening at 7.30 PM, we both will open the batting together 😂💪,” he added.
Butler, who is also famous for his jokes on social media, replied to the message in the comment section, writing:
“Yuzi Bhaiya ❤️”
Both Yuzi Chahal and Jos Buttler are legends of the franchise. Buttler, who joined the franchise in 2018, has been monumental for the success of the franchise in the league. He created history in IPL 2022 by hitting four centuries to become the first overseas player to do so. He also became the second player in the world to do the same after RCB’s Virat Kohli. Buttler’s centuries were against Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, respectively. He also bagged the orange cap by banging 863 runs to become the second-highest runscorer in a season in IPL history.
Chahal on the other hand joined the franchise a little later than Buttler. The spinner joined the Men in Pink in 2022. The same year, Rajasthan Royals reached the IPL final but lost to Gujarat Titans by 7 wickets. In 2024, Chahal became the first player to take 200 wickets in IPL history.
