Yuzvendra Chahal's career is over! Former Indian player made serious allegations against BCCI and management
Delhi: Indian team's 34-year-old leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has not been selected for the ICC Champions Trophy. The thinking of the team management has now changed regarding the players who were once considered the leading white ball bowlers. Former Indian cricketer and current commentator Akash Chopra has given a shocking statement on this.
Chahal's career is over now
Commenting on the selection of the Indian team for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said, “Yuzvendra Chahal's career is now over, his file has been closed. I don't understand why the team management and BCCI did this.”
Most expensive spinner of IPL
Chahal was recently ignored by the Haryana team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and was bought by Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 auction, where he became the most expensive spinner. He has not played any match for India since 2023.

Last match in January 2023
Aakash Chopra further said, “Chahal's career is completely over. He last played in January 2023, which means it has been two years now. His statistics have been very good, he has taken many wickets and has consistently performed brilliantly.”
