Zach Bryan’s cancels Friday Tulse concert amid severe weather alarms
Severe weather warnings sweeping across Oklahoma have begun disrupting major public events, forcing organisers to reassess safety plans.
The impact was felt in Tulsa, where country star Zach Bryan called off his scheduled Friday performance at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
The cancellation was confirmed in an official statement, which cited “forecasted severe weather conditions” as the reason behind the decision.
Organisers stressed that the safety of fans, staff, and performers remained the “top priority,” adding that refunds would be automatically processed through original payment methods.
The concert had already drawn attention earlier this week after Bryan partnered with SONIC Drive-In to distribute thousands of free tickets to Oklahoma teachers.
While Friday’s show has been scrapped, organisers confirmed that Saturday’s concert will go ahead as planned. However, tickets from the cancelled date will not be transferable.
The weather disruption extended beyond music, with the Oklahoma City Comets’ Friday night baseball game rescheduled to Sunday.
Meanwhile, several community Easter events also faced uncertainty, leaving families to rethink their plans amid ongoing storm threats.
