Zee Entertainment News: Zee Entertainment Enterprise Ltd's consolidated net profit increased by 70.24 per cent to Rs 209.4 crore in the July-September quarter of the current financial year. The company said on Friday that its margins have improved due to effective cost management. Its net profit in the same quarter of the last financial year was Rs 123 crore.
Zee Entertainment said in a filing to the stock market that its total income, however, declined to Rs 2,034.4 crore in the September quarter, which was Rs 2,509.6 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
During the September quarter, the company's advertising revenue stood at Rs 901.7 crore and subscriber income stood at Rs 969.9 crore.(pti)
