Zeeshan Ansari’s Personal Life

Zeeshan Ansari comes from a large joint family in Lucknow that struggled for years with limited income. He grew up in Chaudhary Tola, Aliganj, where cricket started on the streets rather than in formal grounds. His father, Mohammed Naeem, and uncles Mohammed Gayas and Mohammed Chand are tailors by profession, continuing the work started by their father Noor Mohammed. The family runs a ladies tailoring shop called New Noor Mohammed Ladies Tailor at IT Chauraha, which was the main source of income for 19 family members living together under one roof.

The family’s house was in poor condition and could not be repaired due to a lack of funds. When Zeeshan earned money after playing in the 2016 Under-19 World Cup for India, he used it not for personal comfort but to rebuild the family home. That house, where the family lives today, was constructed using his earnings from the tournament.
