Zendaya’s Paris Fashion Week Appearance – Decoding style as subtle signaling amid relationship speculation
Zendaya, a notable actor and style figure, has captured attention as she made her highly anticipated public debut on March 10, 2026, at the Louis Vuitton Women’s Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 2026–2027 Show in Paris, following recent reports of heightened media scrutiny surrounding her relationship with Tom Holland.
The show was hosted at Paris’ famous Louvre Museum and prominently featured Zendaya in a hybrid dress (shirt) designed by Louis Vuitton. The shirt component of her look featured a structured, elevated collar and a long trailing portion behind her from a gown, with a cutout in the front of the shirt revealing a mini-dress worn underneath. This outfit was monochromatic in nature, consisting of the long trailing portion of fabric, also white, and appropriately accented by a black leather belt worn on her waist and a pair of pointed black pumps for a concise and professional look.
There was, however, much confusion regarding the absence of her well-known diamond engagement ring; seen instead was a simple gold ring on the same finger—reminiscent of a wedding band. In addition to this ring, Zendaya styles her look with additional rings of silver, all of which coordinated with her outfit; however, in the eyes of fans and fashion experts, the gold band was by far and away the more interesting of the two.
Additionally, Law Roach, Zendaya’s long-time stylist and close friend, was recently quoted by Access Hollywood, following his attendance at the Hollywood Actors Awards on March 1, 2026and during an interview, suggested in jest that Zendaya was “secretly marrying” Tom Holland.
Zendaya and Holland began dating in 2016 when they were together filming Spider-Man: Homecomingand their relationship became public knowledge in 2021. They usually take steps to keep their private lives, for the most part, away from the public eye. Neither the couple nor any of their representatives has responded to any speculation or rumors that have arisen because of recent events.
Her appearance at Paris Fashion Week, to many, seemed less like a possible confirmation of her relationship with Holland and more of a well-orchestrated moment working on a story via fashion; she created an elegant moment where people can interpret it in whatever way they choose, but at the same time, she maintained her characteristically private nature.
