Zepto Founder Kaivalya Vohra And Aadit Palicha: The dominance of young entrepreneurs is clearly visible in the new list of Hurun India and IDFC First Pvt. In this third edition list of India’s 200 most valuable companies, which started after the year 2000, the founders of quick commerce startup Zepto are the most talked about. Just 22-year-old Kaivalya Vohra and 23-year-old Adit Palicha have emerged as the country’s youngest top self-made entrepreneurs.
Zepto’s valuation is estimated at around Rs 52,400 crore, making it one of India’s fastest growing startups. According to Hurun’s report, both of them are at first and second position in this list.
Kaivalya Vohra’s net worth
The story of Kaivalya Vohra and Adit Palicha is no less than a film script. Kaivalya Vohra, who is just 22 years old, is the founder of Zepto and is a dropout from Stanford University’s computer science program. According to Hurun India Rich List 2025, his net worth is around Rs 4,480 crore. Vohra first entered the Hurun Rich List at the age of 19.
At the same time, Adit Palicha, who is the co-founder and CEO of Zepto, is also Mumbai-born and a Stanford dropout. During Covid, both of them realized that there was a huge need for faster delivery of groceries in India and this is where Zepto was born.
Journey from Kiranakart to Zepto
Zepto was initially named ‘Kiranakart’ and promised delivery of 45 minutes. But later the company adopted the 10-minute delivery model, which gave it a distinct identity in the market. Zepto has achieved a big position in a short time in the rapidly changing e-commerce industry. Today the company is providing its services in many big cities of the country and has become quite popular among the young customers. This is the reason why at such a young age its founders have reached the top in the list of top young entrepreneurs of India.
Whose name is at number three in the list?

BharatPe’s Shashwat Nakrani (27) is at third place, while founders of startups related to solar and green energy have also been successful in making it to the top 10. The total value of 200 companies included in this list is around ₹ 42 lakh crore and these include entrepreneurs from 51 cities of the country.

The special thing is that for the first time this year Deepinder Goyal, Founder of Eternal has achieved the top position leaving behind RK Damani of DMart. This list clearly shows that young entrepreneurs in India are now giving tough competition to big industrialists.
