Zero bezel iPhone will not be available for commercial production until 2027

Apple iPhoneEver since its launch, the Apple iPhone series has been a craze among smartphone lovers around the world. According to earlier reports, Apple was planning to launch a bezel-less iPhone around 2025-2026, but now it seems very unlikely for that to happen. Latest reports from Korea have revealed that Apple's dream of introducing an iPhone with zero bezels will not come true until 2027.

According to reports, Cupertino giant Apple has been working on bezel-less iPhone screens in collaboration with Samsung Display and LG Display for the past few years. However, GSMArena, citing Korean sources, reported that the display may not be available for upcoming iPhones as this technology does not exist yet. Apple originally planned to release a zero bezel iPhone in 2025 or 2026. However, the report from Korea mentions that a launch in 2026 is also very unlikely.

What is zero bezel iPhone screen?

iPhone screens with zero bezels will not have any display on the side of the product. Instead, it will have a flat screen but an angled design like the current iPhone. The display is designed so that it flows down the edge of the iPhone. This will be very similar to the display of the latest Apple Watch.

Apple hasn't curved the screen so much that there is distortion at the edges. It seems that Apple is very particular about its displays and it cannot be implemented in mass production. Simply put, a zero bezel iPhone probably won't be available for mass production until 2027.
