Zia Khaleda Death: Zia Khaleda, the first woman Prime Minister of Bangladesh, who went through a period of political instability, fundamentalism and violence, has passed away. 80-year-old Khaleda, who was ill for a long time, breathed her last at around 6:00 in the morning. His party Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) informed about the demise of the former Prime Minister through a social media post.

According to the information, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chief Khaleda Zia was on ventilator for 20 days. Khaleda was suffering from chest infection, liver, kidney, diabetes, arthritis and eye problems for the last several years. His family and party leaders have confirmed the death. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Shamsuddin Didar, an official of the BNP chairperson’s press wing, also confirmed Khaleda’s death. “Khalida Zia passed away at around 6:00 am, just after Fajr prayers,” BNP wrote on its Facebook page.
Let us tell you that Khaleda Zia’s original name was Khaleda Khanum Putul and she was born on 15 August 1945 in Jalpaiguri, Bengal Presidency of undivided India. After the partition of India in 1947, his family moved to Dinajpur city. Khaleda’s politics in Bangladesh was based on anti-India Bengali nationalism. She has been an advocate of Pakistani propaganda. Khaleda became the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the first time in 1991. She was the first woman Prime Minister of the country. After this he held the post of Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 1996 and 2001.
