How did Australia get out?
Australia is in Group B in the T20 World Cup 2026. From this group, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka have qualified for Super 8. The Kangaroos could reach the Super 8 only if Zimbabwe lost the 32nd and 38th matches of the tournament and Australia won their next match against Oman by a big margin. Now after the matches of Zimbabwe and Ireland were canceled due to rain, both the teams have got 1-1 point. Because of this, Zimbabwe has five points in the points table after three matches.
