‘It is important to maintain the momentum of the World Cup’
David Mutendera, coordinator of selectors, said regarding team selection,
‘The T20 World Cup showed what this team is capable of, so it was very important for us to maintain continuity in the team. We wanted to put together the core team that made it to the Super-8 in the tournament. At the same time, space was also made for those players who impressed with their performance in domestic cricket.
