Zomato: Zomato co-founder Aakriti Chopra resigns, 13-year tenure ended

Zomato : Zomato co-founder and chief people officer Aakriti Chopra has resigned from her post, ending her 13-year tenure at the food delivery giant. The company informed the stock exchange that Chopra has resigned from his post with immediate effect.

In her resignation letter addressed to Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, Chopra wrote, “Deepi, as discussed, I am formally submitting my resignation, effective today, September 27, 2024. These 13 years have been an incredibly enriching journey. Thanks for everything. I'm just a call away. All the best to you and Eternal.”

Chopra joined Zomato in 2011 as a senior manager in finance and operations.

Aakriti is the wife of Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of BlinkIt and the company that was acquired by Zomato.

However, Zomato co-founder Aakriti Chopra sent her resignation to the company's CEO Deepinder Goyal through email, but no concrete reason for her resignation was given in it.
