धर्मो रक्षती रक्षित: A saint and an industrialist have taken up the task of implementing this sutra in Dang.
Apart from Gujarat, “Hanuman Temple Construction Yagya” has been started from 2017 for the all-round welfare of other forest dwelling communities of India by connecting them with religion.
(Alkesh Patel) Dang, July 13, 2026 – धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः To protect religion means to follow religion. Following Dharma means carrying out the role that has come to us. The meaning of the word religion in Sanatan Hindutva is so vast and comprehensive that it cannot be limited to any one definition. Of course, it is necessary to promote the traditional form of religion and the same work is being done by a saint and an industrialist together in Dang district.
What is Hanuman Temple Construction Yagya?

Hanumanji temples are being prepared so that the forest dwelling community remains connected to their roots and along with it there is socio-economic progress.

How did you get the inspiration for this?
SRK Knowledge Foundation, the trust of famous industrialist and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Govindbhai Dholakia and Shri Ramakrishna Welfare Trust have been organizing medical camps for the poor for many years. During one such camp in 2017, the founder of Dang Prayosha Foundation, His Holiness P.P. During a visit to the rural areas of Dang with Swami, an idol of Hanumanji was seen in the open under a tree. Govindbhai, who was traveling with him, P.P. Asked Swami about this. Swamiji said that the situation is similar in every village of Dang. In this way, the villagers perform puja rituals only for the idols placed in the open.
During this conversation, both the dignitaries agreed that this situation is not right and there must be a temple. And at that very moment, Shri Dholakia took a resolution to build 311 Hanumanji temple in Dang.
For this, the work of acquiring land and building the temple started. During this time, Govind Bhai felt that other people should also be involved in this Yagya so that it becomes a long term sustainable project. And that’s what happened. Due to his inspiration, other people also started joining.
Features of Hanuman temples being built in Dang:
P.P. The specialty of these temples being built with the inspiration of Swamiji and the efforts of Govindbhai Dholakia is that, these are not only the temples of Hanumanji, but along with each temple a community hall is also built where 200-300 people can sit together, where religious-cultural activities can take place. And in this way the villagers can remain organized and develop.
Karva kept on becoming…
Shri Govindbhai and respected P.P. Swami’s efforts to protect the religions gradually bore fruit. As the fragrance of this work spread, other industrial houses also became contributors in the construction of the temple. In which mainly the Chairman and Managing Director of Detox Group, Mr. Chetanbhai Contractor, Chairman of Madhusudan Group, Mr. Gopalbhai Mundra, Maheshbhai Kargar and other industrial houses and luminaries are included.
