1 crore women's bat-bat! Rs 5000-5000 received in account, check your bank balance immediately

Subhadra Scheme: A very big and relief news has come out for more than 1 crore women of the country. The government has successfully sent a new installment of Rs 5000 each to the bank accounts of eligible women. This amount has been transferred directly by the Odisha state government to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of its ambitious 'Subhadra Scheme'. In this phase, the state government has sent a huge amount of Rs 5,160 crore to the accounts of 1.03 crore women.

This is the 5th installment given under this scheme. Let us tell you that on August 28, this money has been digitally transferred to the accounts of all the beneficiaries by the government. The special thing is that this time the names of 2.21 lakh more new women have been included in the new list of the scheme, who have got the direct benefit of this financial assistance.

Get Rs 5000-5000 twice a year

Subhadra Yojana has been designed in such a way that under it, a total financial assistance of Rs 10,000 is given to the beneficiary women every year. This amount is transferred to women by dividing it into two separate installments in a year.

The first installment of this scheme is sent on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, while the second installment is deposited directly into the bank accounts on the special occasion of International Women's Day. An amount of Rs 5000-5000 is given on both the occasions. Thus, each beneficiary woman will receive a total financial assistance of up to Rs 50,000 through this scheme over the entire period of 5 years.

How to check whether money has arrived in your bank account or not

This entire amount is sent by the government directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). You can easily check whether this installment of Rs 5000 has reached your account or not by making an entry in your bank passbook or through bank statement/online banking.

If the money has not been transferred to your account yet, then instead of getting worried, check your account details and application form once. Many times, due to some kind of miss-match in the bank account information, name or spelling, money gets stuck or comes late.

Know what is Subhadra Yojana and who is eligible for it

Subhadra Yojana was started in the year 2024. The entire operation of this public welfare scheme is done by the Department of Women and Child Development. To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for the woman applying to be a native of Odisha state.

As per the eligibility rules, the woman's family must be registered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). However, even poor families who do not have a ration card will not be deprived of this scheme—if their family annual income is less than Rs 2.50 lakh, they can also take full advantage of it.

Talking about the age limit, only women above 21 years of age and below 60 years of age are considered eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme. An important condition to note is that if a woman is receiving assistance of Rs 1500 or more every month through any other scheme of the state government, or is availing any kind of government pension, then she is kept out of the scope of this scheme.
