10 year old boy’s shocking claim: ‘I am the reincarnation of Raja Mansingh’
History and legends are scattered at every step in the sandy soil of Rajasthan, but the news coming out from Tonk district has surprised not only the local people but also the social media. Here a 10 year old innocent child has made such a claim which has shocked even the elders. This boy, living in Jakmabad village of the district, says that he is not an ordinary child, but the reincarnation of Raja Mansingh, the great ruler of Amer.
In fact, this claim of 10 year old Kanharam Bairava has heated up the discussion in the entire area. The child is not only calling himself Raja Mansingh, but he is also adding such links from the history of 400 years ago that people are jaw-dropping. Kanharam claims that he remembers everything about his previous life and that he is the same Raja Mansingh who died in 1614.
Battle of Haldighati and the story of the treasure of Amer
The most shocking part of Kanharam’s talks are those incidents of history, which are often taught in books. The boy claims that he had actively participated in the fierce battle of Haldighati. Not only this, he has also told the villagers and his family that he has hidden a huge amount of treasure in the Amer Fort. It is being said that when the child mentions these things, one would be surprised to see his confidence.
Usually, at the age of 10, children are busy in sports and school matters, but after hearing the talk of war and treasure from Kanharam’s mouth, the local people are associating it with some divine miracle. However, experts say that this could also be a mere imagination of the child, but the detail with which he tells things has definitely raised the topic of research.
‘Rajputi’ style and different behavior in lifestyle
Kanharam’s family says that his behavior has been quite different from other children since childhood. His parents say that he tries to adopt the Rajput-like lifestyle from a young age. According to the family, Kanharam has also changed his eating habits. He prefers to eat food in separate utensils instead of sitting with other family members and a distinct kind of ‘royal’ touch is visible in his way of walking and speaking.
The people of the village tell that Kanharam often talks about old kingdoms and kings. These sudden changes in his behavior have also put his family in a dilemma. Parents are not able to understand whether they should accept these things of their child as truth or consider them as a part of some mental condition.
Miracle or psychological effect? debate broke out in the village
As this news spread in the surrounding areas, people started flocking to Jakamabad village. According to the local people, some people are completely linking it to faith and reincarnation, while modern thinking people are seeing it as the impact of some film or story on the mind of the child. In fact, science has always been skeptical about claims of reincarnation, but such incidents often become a subject of curiosity in rural areas of India.
At present, there has been no official confirmation or scientific investigation into this entire matter. Educationists and psychologists believe that sometimes children become victims of ‘false memory syndrome’, in which they start considering the things they hear as their own experiences. Well, whatever may be the truth, but at present this ‘royal’ claim of Kanharam Bairwa remains the biggest center of discussion in Tonk, Rajasthan.
