Ghaziabad Rape Accused Killed: Accused of murder after rape of 4 year old girl killed in encounter in Ghaziabad, reward of Rs 50000 was kept on Jasim alias Chhotu
Ghaziabad. In Ghaziabad, UP, the accused of raping and murdering a 4 year old girl has been killed by the police in an encounter. The name of the killed person is Jasim alias Chhotu. He was the girl’s maternal uncle. A reward of Rs 50,000 was announced on Jasim, accused of raping and murdering a girl. The incident of rape and murder of the girl took place in Tila Mod area of Ghaziabad. UP Police confirmed that Jasim was killed in the encounter. Jasim was killed by the SWAT team under the leadership of Ghaziabad ADCP Crime Piyush Singh and ACP Crime. Two constables of UP Police were also injured in the firing by Jasim.

According to UP Police, Jasim alias Chhotu, accused of raping and murdering the girl, was found to be in Banthra area of Tila Mod with some associates. On this, the police formed teams to catch him and also deployed checking posts at many places in Ghaziabad. According to the police, Jasim was seen coming with some of his companions near Banthala Canal Cut. On this the SWAT team present there tried to stop him. Police claim that Jasim opened fire. On this the police also fired back. According to UP Police, Jasim was shot and seriously injured. The police took him to the hospital. Where the doctors declared the accused of rape and murder of the girl dead.

According to UP Police, pistol, cartridges and bike have been found from Jasim. Along with him, two other people on the bike fled during the encounter. Police is investigating about the absconding people. According to UP Police, there was a case against Jasim in Muzaffarnagar, UP also. The dead body of a 4-year-old girl was found in Ghaziabad on 11 April. Investigation revealed that the girl was raped and then murdered. During investigation, the police also found out that the girl was last seen with Jasim. After which Jasim was absconding and Ghaziabad police was searching for him. This police search ended with the encounter of Jasim.
