New Delhi. A case of rape and murder of a girl took place in the country’s capital Delhi on Wednesday morning. The incident took place in Amar Colony area of Delhi. The father of the girl who was the victim of rape and murder is an IRS officer. The age of the deceased is about 21 years. According to the police, initial investigation suggests that after the rape, the girl was strangulated to death with the wire of a mobile charger. According to the police, the old servant of the house is suspected of rape and murder. This servant was removed by the girl’s father about one and a half months ago.

Delhi Police suspects that the servant committed this crime to take revenge. Police are currently watching all the CCTV footage. So that it can be known who had entered the house before the murder of the girl. Police say that on Wednesday morning the girl’s officer father and his wife had gone for a morning walk. The girl was alone at home. When they returned from the morning walk, they found the daughter soaked in blood and unconscious. The girl was also badly hit on the head. Injuries were also found on the face. The girl’s parents immediately took her to the hospital. Where the doctors declared the girl dead. After this the police was informed.

Delhi Police says that the girl was raped first. After that, the accused also committed theft in the house and before absconding, he strangulated the girl to death with the wire of a mobile charger. Delhi Police has formed several teams to nab the accused. There have been many incidents of attacks against girls and women in Delhi before. A foreign girl had even lodged a complaint of rape in the Connaught Place area itself. Since the current incident took place in the morning, even the people in the neighborhood remained unaware of it. More revelations are expected in this case after the arrest of the accused.
